Welcome to the spectacular Okanagan Valley
of beautiful British Columbia!
Nestled between Penticton and Vernon in the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna is most appreciated for its hot summers and mild winters. Kelowna receives over 2,000 hours of sunshine, 28 cm of rain and 105.5 cm of snow annually. The average daytime high July-Aug is 27.4 C.; Dec-Jan is -0.3 C (avg. low is -7.7 C).
With a population of an estimated 106,000 people, Kelowna is the largest city in the Valley. Boasting a variety of amenities and attractions from championship golf courses to internationally acclaimed wineries, you can also enjoy the local orchards, vineyards and spectacular sightseeing. Whether you are a summer or winter enthusiast, Kelowna provides endless activities including swimming, fishing, boating, hiking and skiing - to mention only a few. |

The new W.R. Bennett Bridge (named after the former Premier) opened in May 2008, and has replaced the old Okanagan Lake Bridge (built in 1958) as the only vehicular crossing over Okanagan Lake. The new 5-lane bridge is almost 1063 meters in length, and remains the only floating bridge in Canada. Spanning across the Valley from Vernon to Penticton, our spectacular Okanagan Lake is 110 km (68 miles) long and between 4 and 5 km wide.
Whether you are new to the area, or have been privileged as I have to call it “home”, I look forward to discussing the exciting options awaiting you in the listing of your current home or purchase of the next. |
